
Nassau County Magistrates Association
Mission Statement
The Nassau County Magistrates Association Inc. (the “Association”) is organized as a New York not-for-profit corporation and is exempt under section 501(c)(3) of United States Internal Revenue Code.
The purposes of the Association are:
- To distribute information and instructions as to the duties and authority of the Village Justices of Nassau County in the execution and performance of their respective duties.
- To instruct and conduct continuing education sessions to assist the members and their Clerks with reference to the laws and procedures concerning their offices.
- To create a better public understanding by properly conducting their Courts with dignity and decorum.
- To promote a high degree of efficiency and administration of justice in the Courts of the members.
- To foster better relations with the public.
